Hello all. I have been helping ACMC with their hare scramble trail near Bostwick. The trail is established but can use some face slapper trimming and some more arrows and burn in. I plan to be there next Sunday 12/23/12. Also will be prepping over the next weeks until the race on 1/12/13 and 1/13/13. They could also use some course marshal help during race days..If you have some time please let me know by email. jimbo70x@gmail.com If you don't know where it is I'll email directions. Great opportunity to help a sister club and get some seat time on different land.

Usually they'll hook you up with event shirts, drinks and food. Great piece of property, easy to get to, and not far. Worth helping out and testing the trail layout. Other members went last year and had a good time, I know I did. Ought to send out a club e-mail invite.

I'll be at Bostwick hare scramble property Sunday 12/30 starting at 9:30 AM. N29 47 23.2 W81 37 36.2 is the location of the Bostwick hare scramble. Just copy and paste into google maps. It’s about half way between Green Cove Springs and Palatka. The trail is all there, needs burn in so come out and ride. Any help is appreciated.

I'll be at the Bostwick site Sat and Sun 1/5 and 1/6. Come out and help with a little prep and then burn it in. Also could use some field help for the H/S 1/12 and 1/13. Thanks. Jim.

Me and my 16 year old son ride XR400R bikes recreational mostly in Ocala and Osceola. He is thinking about getting involved in HS racing, but would like to see what it all about first. We are available Sat and Sun 1/5 and 1/6 and the race weekend. Would it be a good idea to help with burn in and watch the race? If so, let me know what times to be there and we will help and attend.
James,

We can use the help, just riding the course will help and it's a great opportunity to see what these courses are like. Helping on either or both race days in the field, towing out broken bikes or just making sure no one cuts the course is a great way to see racers at speed. The GPS coordinates are a few posts up. give me a call if you have any more questions. 904 315 6250 Jim.

Hello all. We had a great event in Bostwick. Some RCDR club members helped build the trail, some helped coarse marshal during the event and some did both. I’d like to thank Art Thomas, Smitty, David Schumacher and family, Mark Clay, Clint Lancaster, Bill Newman, and James Damiano and his son Zack for their time and efforts. BTW, James and Zack are not even members yet but plan to join at the next meeting. Jim.

Congratulations, guys! And talk about being competitive: after one hour and 44 minutes of drama, Barry prevailed by a whopping EIGHT SECONDS !! Heck, it takes me longer than eight seconds just to swing my leg over the seat. Congratulations also to Brad Stanton, Tim Miller, Mike Hunter and DJ. Best of luck racing this weekend. Have fun, be safe.
