That's what Barry said this morning in the old thread. Quote: Yep! I received a PM from Mike Belle, FTR Hare Scramble Chairman, apologizing for not notifying us sooner that our request was approved.

We will have 3 weekends to finish up all the prep work for the Hare Scramble.
October 19 & 20 November 2 & 3 November 16 & 17
The event is confirmed with FTR and the land owner to be November 23/24.
We are getting into the land owners hunting season, so we won't have the freedom that we had before. For this reason, we are limiting the work days to those listed above, so please make every effort the come out and help with the final preparations. It will be the normal routine, with everyone meeting out there by 9:00am each day.
PLEASE, do not go out to the property except for the days listed above, or with prior approval.

The property is in good shape and we have decided to cancel the Nov 2-3 work days. The next work day/weekend will be the weekend before the race. There are still plenty of things to be done, so please plan your schedules to be able to help out Nov 16-17, as we will be putting finishing touches on the course.
ATTENTION: Due to the hunting on Spencer farm, NO ONE FROM THE CLUB IS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. THIS MEANS RIDING OR WORKING.

Would anybody like to meet for breakfast at Famous Amos on Normandy at 9am Saturday before our 10am meeting at Spencer's Farm? We are just one week out from our largest event.

With only a few more days before race day, the anxiety is building. I hope everyone will be able to come out and help the club, and enjoy watching and meeting the racers. Several of us will be arriving at the property Thursday afternoon so we have time to finish things up on Friday. Feel free to join in anytime.
If you are coming out Saturday or Sunday morning, please plan to be at the registration trailer at 7:00am. We will meet at that time to go over the schedule of the day and to assign help where its needed.
If anyone has any questions, please call me at 904-613-6572

Is it ok for me to race this weekend? I have to get rid of this crappy feeling of quitting a race, it's really eating me up.

Hey Aki, Yes you can race, a few club members are racing the event. A little help with the event when your not racing would be awesome though. Don
