Well folks it’s that time of year again and we are going to offer up another Turkey Trot for your riding pleasure. New location this year but we will still be riding Black Water State Forrest so no special permits are required. Street legal bikes of course and full riding gear please.
We have the final OK for the location so get ready and pass the word.
Great New Location North of Baker FL
30.974648
-86.723334
All routes are on GPS and available through Email
POC: PM me with your email address for GPX files
Directions from Baker Fl
First - go to Baker Fl
Continue North on FL189 12.0 miles to CR180 turn Left (west)
Travel 6 Miles to sharp left (south) onto Looney Rd (dirt road will be marked) with ADV sign) go .8 miles to campsite on right.
Tent Camp area along stream and in the shade. All others please park in open field near tree line and away from tent area. Plenty of room for big rigs.
No hookups. Please haul out what you brought in.
There is a pavilion on site which we can use. Shaded and fans with limited power. Very clean bathrooms are available and they have a shower in each.
We will have a big TV running with vids and movies so bring a DVD if you have something you want to share. Big bonfire pit and area also available.
You don't want to miss this one. Florida riding at its best.
This is a NO FEE event.
Three separate “Tracks” will be give out to those who want them. There will be ride leaders - but you are encouraged to ride in small groups. Both the street ride and the Dual Sport ride will include lots of lakes and easy water crossings. No deep water! The “Dirt Bike Ride” will be a challenge. There we be several alternates for those who want the very worst. Nothing of course will be really difficult but it is designed to challenge all.
Saturdays rides will include gas stops and food at a great local place called Gators.
More info to come on exact start location and other particulars.
In the meantime here are a few shots of previous Trots...
