The Big Scrub Trail Riders are hosting a SxS / UTV Fun Run at 6PM and Race at 6:45PM on Saturday at the 2017 Gatorback Hare Scrambles - Part 2 on May 6.

This event will held at the Gatorback Cycle Park in Gainesville, FL.

Big Scrub Trail Riders UTV Race Update:

The UTV track at Gatorback should be awesome!!!! It's 12-15 minutes long & includes the three MX tracks and a bunch of wider trail and numerous hills.

Schedule: 6pm UTV-only fun run, 6:30 UTV race practice and 6:45 UTV race. The finish flag will be around 35 minutes so your race should be 35-45 minutes long.

If your looking to just do some laps without the stress of a race or your UTV isn't set up to race safely, then just do the UTV fun run at 6pm. If you are going to race then you CAN NOT do the UTV fun run. Do your 6:30 practice lap but no extra practice allowed.

The UTV track is a ton of fun but just know the machines are capable of far more speed than the track allows so when in doubt, be sure to hit the brake instead of the throttle.

Side by Sides only. Saturday at 6:00 for the fun run and 6:45 for the race.

All SxS participating must have a roll cage and seat belts. All participants must wear a helmet. Passengers are allowed as long as the SxS has appropriate seating. Passengers must sign-up with the driver and sign waiver. Course will be approximately 4 to 5 miles long and will use most of the course that the Quads use (all of Gatorback and Diamondback MX tracks and most of the hills not on the MX tracks). There will be lots of elevation changes.

Fun Run - NOT a Race. Any SxS that meets above qualifications. 6:00 to 6:30.

Race classes: Open A, Open B, 0-900cc, 0-800cc, Utility

All turbos must ride Open A. Utility must have a dump bed. Sign-up will aid in determing A or B if you ride the Open class.

Race classes will have the opportunity to have 1 practice lap. Practice will start as soon as all of the Fun Run participants are off the course. Race will begin at 6:45. Start will be similar to the Quad race start. 45 minute race with course being closed to additional laps after 35 minutes.

Entry Fees: Fun Run - $10 Race Classes - $25

Race classes will have 3 trophies per class.
