Hey all, was looking to go to Durhamtown on October 25th, 26th and 27th. Wondering if anybody else would be interested in going that weekend. They do have a SxS race that weekend but they still have camp spaces available as well as cabin and onsite RV accommodations. I spoke to them and they said if we are interested in riding that weekend we need to make a move. Let me know if there is any interest, I really would like to do this since our current options are limited.
I'm in! When I booked the lodging, I wrote in the comment section to make sure it's a 5 star room with turn down service and room service. Also a mint should be waiting for me on my pillow. I just hope it's not one of those big white ones!
The weekend in Durhamtown was awesome. Having never been there I was in awe of the property and what they offered to everyone for fun. Hospitality of the owners was like if your there your family! Accommodations were satisfactory for everyone, no complaints that I heard. A few minor spills for a few who got up and kept going. One mechanical failure of brakes shortened some riding time but I think they enjoyed the time they got to ride. The condition to me was just shy of perfect for main trails and single track trails appeared to be untouched by anyone but River City. It was a great group of people who went, with varying skills and abilities so we did separate a bit but I was able to ride with everyone for bit. I was already to go back before I even got home. Although we don't all have a drop everything and go schedule, planning more trips like this with members in advance is something I would like to see.

My first time there also. Thanks to Scott for planning the trip well in advance. Yep, my rear brake went out while trying (to no avail) to catch Clint in that bright red Georgia clay. Just ordered parts to rebuild the failed master cylinder. Regardless, I still had a great time with a great group.
