Keeping an Eye on weather, and may not be able to decide til Saturdays forecast. Either way, call me no later than Saturday 6pm, and I'll know better then. There are 2 new sections that none of you have been to, and that's the next "connect the dots" Mundy 904-465-2013 9if voicemail, leave a call back number) please don't call me while talking on "speaker"/ handsfree (sounds like a wind tunnel!

Well, another beautiful Sunday coming up! Need more members to come out and help, in order to pull off our enduro Nov. 21st! Some sections near the horse parking need finishing, mile-age out on the north end, etc. We have been fortunate not to have any horse riders out when we are there, but with mild weather ,that might change, so we need to get done quickly. Once the loop is done, we'll have a few walkways to build and install, an arrowing day (after class) and final tweaking. Again, call and confirm---904-465-2013 (if voice--leave a call back #) Sunday 8:30 @ horse parking. If you are too late and nobody"s around, it's not a free ride day! Be nice if someone would load these posts to RCDR facebook.

Most of the pieces of the puzzle are coming together. Now is the time to start tweaking the horse side loop and expanding some short woods sections. We have the room and cover to put in some switch-backs. Weather is excellent , warm but not uncomfortable, Yellow flies still buzzing, and hoping the river is draining down. Quads still needed to beat down some sections. No real heavy work. Bikes can navigate much of whats in now. So don't be discouraged from coming out this Sunday. Check previous posts. meeting, contact has not changed. Someone up date the "Facey book thing, please.

All the "DOTS" are connected! Just have a few little tweaks to finish up, maybe an hour. Trail needs to be ridden and cleaned, some face-slappers in some areas, paint stumps, etc. and arrowing (after class and briefing). Sunday looks like better day, but keep checking this thread as conditions may change this week!

Horse side is well defined, one short switchback to put in, otherwise nothing will change. Need stakes with "envelope arrows" put up in clear cuts, will try and get material for walkways out there this week, all of which will be hand nailed. Start collecting tape measures, hammers, squares, cordless skill saws, black markers, or what ever you may need. Alot of the material can be shuttled fairly close to area by truck, but some needs to be dragged out by quads. Trying to make these walkways as simple and as light as possible and they will stay in place. Stay tuned!

No materials yet. Will be concentrating on finishing existing loops, stakes with "envelope arrows", cleaning, etc. Then a guided group "FAM" ride in the afternoon, while it's so dry out. Wear bright shirts.

Horse loop is set in stone, no changes (unless timber company shows up) Check previous posts for tools needed for next Sunday, just looking ahead, for materials to show up. Probably meeting on ATV side. Attention Trail Volunteers--- RCDR members ONLY are authorized by the county, to help develop the horse side trails, any other atv, SxS or off-road bikes riding on that side is considered trespass by the county, and we have been discouraging those that we see wandering over there. So far, all encounters with horse-back riders have been nothing but positive! We've shown respect and good communications with them ,and that is just one more good impression our club representatives have made. Let's keep it that way! Saturdays membership ride day, I'll be there somewhere. If no rain before then, bring a dust mask, SERIOUSLY.

Sunday's weather looks good. Hopefully the material will be there. Either way we will meet on ATV side, near club trailer 8:30. Bring tools previously listed. Our exposure on horse side is leading to some "trail poachers", so we'll keep it low keyed for a while.

Materials for walkways are there. Bring tools previously listed, should not take all day, depending on how many show up. Some of the people who enjoyed the "ride day" today are coming back tomorrow. Everyone except for the rider in front, returned with black mustaches! 8:30 ATV side, park near club trailers.

Fun time at Glen St. Mary's today. Perrrfect weather and trails in great shape. I have not had this much fun riding single track in years! We are going to have a super enduro event. Thank you Mundy and all workers! Of course, I was painfully reminded of my limitations: - I can ride narrow trails - I can ride bumpy trails - I can ride twisty trails BUT I cannot ride all three at the same time! As opposed to some club members (not to mention any names like Aki) who serenely float over narrow-bumpy-twisty trails. (It must be the bike, don't you think?) Sorry for not taking photos on the trails. I was too busy just trying to keep my wheels up and moving forward... One can tell “before riding” and “after riding”… See you soon!
