Is there a resident suspension tuner that the club uses?

Use to be, but he moved. Would help to know what bike, then go from there.

Cube,
I have used both Doug Harvey (left for Colorado) and have used Factory Connection in New Hampshire. I have a 03 and a 09 YZ125's. I had the 03's suspension re-valved and serviced by Factory Connection a little over a year ago and was satisfied with the results. That being said I recently went to Factory Connection in New Hampshire over the Thanksgiving holiday to drop off my 09 suspension and to meet the guys in person. I have no doubt that my suspension will work better and being that I was there they gave me a half hour tutorial on how to set up and work on my suspension after I get it back installed.
On a side note I did check in our area for local suspension work but unfortunately I found out that since my bike is "BLUE" and not Orange it needs special attention and that is why I contacted a big national company. Good luck in your search, most companies should get back to you in a timely manner and be able to explain what they think they can do for you along with a fair estimate for the work to be performed.

Is there a resident suspension tuner that the club uses? what brand of bike? I thought Don Learn worked on suspensions. I have used KTM World and Neeley racing on KTM's in the past. I saw MANY racers with stickers on their bikes last weekend from tfsuspension.com

Unfortunately, there aren't any local anymore. Don Learn will do rebuilds but I don't think he does revalves/tuning. There is an art to revalves, and can be very difficult to get right. Even the professionals have trouble in many cases. Your closest, and well known, options would be TF Racing (Tom Fleming 941-322-8248, www.tfsuspension.com/), WMR (http://www.wmr1.com/suspension.htm) and KTMWorld (http://www.ktmworld.com/topic/11-suspension-services.aspx). I have heard good things about them all. TF and WMR are here in Florida and know our terrain very well. TF has been attending most, if not all, of the FTR Hare Scrambles if you'd prefer to deal with someone in person.

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking at a 2013 KTM 250 or XCF-W to replace my CRF230F. I think I'll give Tom a call. I've seen his stickers on some bikes.

Try Jason Beck at Beck's Tech in Port Orange. Dropped my bike off on a Monday and he ordered/put new springs in my bike and freshened everything up by Friday. He even adjusted my valves and did some other tune ups that my bike needed.
