is there cell service at the enduro site. At&t or sprint? FWIW, I was cutting trail w/ Glenn on Friday in the new section in the middle of the loop and got some calls (via AT&T) from the better half. So yes, at least in some places.

Verizon was not that good. Text msg & e-mail works but voice was very sketchy for me.

I have gotten a few msg from members asking if anyone is willing to car pool down to the camp this next weekend. If you are looking for a ride down & back post here an see if anyone can work it out with each other.
Thanks
Looking like we may have a rather large group this next 2 workdays.

Re-programming your phone while in the area, tunes in to closer antennae's. Verizon is *228. Providers do not volunteer these facts.

Thanks to all those that have come out. The course is turning out to be great. Here are a few videos for you. I'll post a full length video next week, once the race is over. We wouldn't want to create any unfair advantages....
We also need lots of help this weekend (Sunday, at a minimum), so please come out and support the club and FTR. The weather is looking good. It should make for a great event.

Whats the schedule for race weekend and where do we meet. Sorry I was only able to make it for one day so far but will be there to help with the race. We will begin to set up camp on Friday morning around 9:30 AM. Check the trail in the afternoon and attack open items. List to be generated on Friday for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday starting time in the morning as well Sunday Most need to be at the campground by 7:00 AM and a few can arrive as late as 8:15 AM. Everyone should have been assigned a task for Sunday by the end of the day on Saturday. I need all of the RCDR members to see me on Saturday for those and make sure I have you on the list. Again Thanks to all for your help getting this Enduro ready. Now we need to finish it strong. PS: if you can not make it to the camp by the times above let me know on Friday or Saturday so I do not assign you a task that starts near that time.

Maybe a dumb question but where is the camp. Is it where we met on the work days? I will be there Saturday and Sunday.

Most of the logs are pretty easy to cross. Some of them move and bite at you, however..

My son bill did a promo video for the enduro. Didn't include the gator.

Barry has ridden the highest possible wet section this afternoon and it is in very good condition. He is camping tonight and will ride the complete loop early tomorrow. Look for a trail report around 10 AM.
The rain has been very light at the trails and so far no issues with water.
Thanks for your help and hope to see all this weekend at the Enduro.

There are TONS of people that made this event possible, and no words typed here or said in person will ever show the gratitude I feel for the folks that really rolled up their sleeves and gave 100% of themselves for the sake of FTR Enduros.
Allen Pearce (and BSTR) helped a ton, and he continues to support FTR and its enduro series without wavering! I really appreciate all of your help. You make me proud to be in the FTR! Thanks for helping so selflessly with the relationship with SJWM, with the route, with the arrowing, with pulling arrows, with all the running around we were doing before during and after the enduro. We are lucky to have you lead us into next season. I REALLY appreciate your help!
Glenn Hunt - New to the area, new to RCDR but a well-seasoned Enduro Leader - stepped up and really helped in all areas of the event. RCDR and FTR are lucky to have you! Thanks for taking the reigns and learning the property, the route, and the personalities of every constituent involved in this event. You were easy to work with and for, and you were really instrumental in getting all of us into shape for our respective duties (before, during and after) the event.
Barry Miller (and the entire RCDR Membership) made every effort to provide a successful event for the Benefit of FTR. They worked tirelessly for many days to clear the course. They arrowed, and re-arrowed the route to ensure we had the best course that the conditions, land and SJWM would allow. The worked in the heat, the dampness, the rain, the ticks and never once did I hear anyone mention anything that wasn't 100% positive. It's a big ask of a club to come out and work (many traveling 100+ miles each direction) an event that pays no financial dividends, but they did it with smiles. From the chatter on the forum and from folks at the event that made the special efforts to tell me how good the event was - it seems all that work was appreciated. I know I appreciate it! I am glad to be an RCDR Member!!!
There are a whole host of individuals that need to be called out by name (in doing so, I am sure I will miss someone - it is unintentional if it happens.)
I worked side by side with these folks and know how hard they worked so I mention them only because I recognized they matched or exceeded the effort expected:
Barry Miller, Rick Chapple, Tim Miller, Jim Harker, Bill Harker, Jeff Smith, Dave Jensen, Peter Magee, David Nagle, Chris Blake, Allen Pearce, Glenn Hunt, Aki Polvikoski, Mark Beebe, Clint, etc. etc., etc.!
Thanks everyone for pulling together and putting on a great one!

I want to also say thanks to everyone who came out and helped. It was a great event, and the riders are steady talking about. Check out the FTR forum and see what they are saying ( www.floridatrailriders.org//ftr_forums/showthread.php?t=14315&page=11 ). Start about half way down and continue onto the next page. Even with all the rain, the course was in great condition. RCDR is a great club!!! Thanks everyone!
