The racers have spoken, and now its time for our club members to do the same. We have over 160 riders that have preregistered. That's more than twice the number of pre-entries we had last year, and more than we had total last year as well.
Glenn and our club members have established an enduro that is gaining popularity in a huge way. We are on pace to easily exceed 200 riders. And the weather is looking perfect for the riders as well, which should convince anyone who was on the fence
BUT, the event can't happen without everyone helping out. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! Everyone's help. And don't hesitate to invite others. If you have neighbors, friends, family or whoever, invite them out. They don't need to be members, and can be any age. You can turn it into a camp out also. There will be club members at the event site all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so feel free to come out anytime. Friday and Saturday will allow a lot of time to ride if you'd like to ride an awesome piece of property that is only open once a year. Feel free to come out any day and camp for the weekend.
-If you enjoy spectating, we can use your help at one of the 47 road crossings that need to be attended
-If you enjoy being in the action, we can use your help as one of the ~40 checkpoint workers, where you'll be shoulder-to-shoulder with the riders as they leave and/or arrive.
-If you enjoy talking with people, you can help as one of the 8-10 people registering the racers or selling t-shirts
-If you like getting out and seeing various parts of the course, we need people to keep in contact with the sweep crew and pickup riders who need help.
As you can see, we can use help from over 100 people, and there are many different roles to meet your interest. And don't forget, your help will go towards reducing your dues next year.
