From Advrider.... LINK Free event... read on. Follow the link to Advrider for more info.
This event is the first weekend of Bike Week. For those of us that live in Florida, we run this event to avoid bike week. For those that come to Florida for Bike Week, we run this event to give a chance to actually ride your bike. This is an Adventure Rally, meaning our plan is for your to travel (as much off-road as possible) from the Atlantic Ocean (St. Augustine) to the Gulf of Mexico on the first day. Spend the night in Steinhatchie, Fl and then return to St. Augustine, Fl the second day.
The Rally is an overland challenge in which you follow a route sheet and have to take picture at certain locations to earn points. The top points earners in their category will receive a trophy at the end of the Rally.
You can also earn points by taking pictures and posting up on the thread. On your way to the Rally you can earn 2pts. If you can take pictures and post up during the Rally as you progress across the State you can earn 5 points.
The start area will be the St. Augustine Lighthouse on March 5th at 8:00am to pick up your roll chart and instructions.
Saturday nights destination is Fiddler's Restaurant and Pelican Pointe Inn. Phone is 352-498-7427 to make room reservations. Other hotels are River Haven Marina and Motel 352-498-0709 and River Inn 352-498-4049.
To assist us with sponsors and overall organization we are asking you to officially register through GS Giants website as this is a GS Giants Event. The cost is increased this year by 100% to $0.00

We are planning several routes this year. The adventure route will be traveling over paved and unpaved roads and each day will be a different route. This route will also have challenge sections where you can earn more points by taking a more challenging path.
We will also have a street only route for those that want to join in on the fun, but do not have a bike capable of going off pavement. This is new for us, however we have had many folks wanting to join in on the adventure without the risk. This will also have a trophies for high points collectors.
As we progress I will update this front page with more information.
SO? Who's in! Even though we will be asking all to register through the GS Giants page, we are still asking for everyone planning to join in to declare they are in on this site. We will probably always be in "Beta" test mode
