This is our last weekend before the event. We need lots of help on Saturday and Sunday finalizing the course putting up arrows and laying out the parking. Some burn in would also help. So ignore the weather report and get off the couch and come on out. Once again some of us are meeting at the Famous Amos on Normandy 1 mi west of 295 at 8 on Saturday. See ya'll there.

I will be parking my camper and working at the HS tomorrow morning about 9am. Is anyone else planning to be at the site Thursday morning?

Looks like everything is just about ready. Hey, can anyone bring some big coolers for club drinks?? Clint will pick up sodas and ice. That would be great. See you there!

I, for one, would like to applaud the board and all the folks who came out to help with this great event. Lots of new members came out to support the effort. Great job.

Thanks to all the club memebers who helped with the event. I had a great time helping. Great job on the trophies they were very nice. I spoke to the land owners and they were happy and ready for us to come back. I wonder if they will let us have an enduro?? Any idea as to how many riders we had?

Thanks to everyone for a great cooperative effort to pull off our event. I'm beat but had a blast. I also heard Mr Spencer was pleased with us and welcomed us back. Jim.

Thanks for posting those, G. I'm going to steal a couple of them, if you don't mind. I took several, but don't have a public place to post them.
Moreover, thank you for all you've done, especially behind the scenes, to make the Anchor 3 happen. I heard a lot of nice compliments about the way the event was run; about how nicely marked the way in was, and about how efficient registration was.

I wanted to post earlier but have been so busy since getting back, couldn't find the time. Wanted to give a big shout out and thanks to the guys who helped with my section last week. It may have seemed like a perfectly smooth operation to those of you who weren't on the trail but I can assure you, we had our moments of panic. Without Smitty, Pat, Art, and Brad, things would not have gone over so well. All in all, everything turned out great thanks to them. These guys made up the best trail team I have ever seen. Thanks to their experience and genuine interest in the well being of the riders, everyone remained safe. Thanks again guys. Don

Went out to Spencer farm yesterday. Wow were we lucky the rain came this week. Still a little clean up to do, a few posts, stakes and ribbon. Start and parking looks great(but wet). I'm planning to give it a try next Sat and could use a little help. Thanks again for the great job putting on the race. Jim.

During the course of the hare scramble, we found two machetes along the trails. I'll bring them to the meeting tomorrow.

I liked the title to the video:
GOPRO Brutal FTR race April 2013
He has the GoPro mounted to his quad and not to his helmet, so if you get motion sickness you may not want to watch it.
